Job Summary

The SAP Sales Leader will be responsible for driving revenue generation and managing the profit and loss (P&L) for StatusNeo's SAP practice. This role requires a hunter-oriented sales leadership approach, aiming to build a robust pipeline, close deals, and position StatusNeo as a credible partner within the SAP ecosystem. Collaboration with the Practice Head and delivery teams is essential to shape effective proposals and grow the organization’s client base.

Responsibilities

  • Own and achieve SAP practice revenue targets: Responsible for direct revenue, influenced revenue, and partner-sourced revenue.
  • Build and maintain SAP alliance relationships: Foster relationships with the SAP India partner/alliance team, RISE with SAP go-to-market (GTM) leads, and regional account teams.
  • Identify and close new opportunities: Target mid-market and GCC accounts within specific industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI).
  • Manage a qualified pipeline: Ensure accurate forecasting and build a robust pipeline through direct and partner-sourced opportunities and co-selling.
  • Represent StatusNeo at industry events: Actively participate in SAP ecosystem events, partner councils, and collaborative GTM strategies.
  • Collaborate on proposals: Work closely with the SAP Practice Head and delivery teams to develop competitive, winnable proposals and fixed-price offerings.
  • Mentor junior sales staff: Assist in developing and scaling a junior sales and pre-sales bench as the practice grows.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 12–18+ years in enterprise IT sales, with a minimum of 6–8 years specifically focused on selling SAP services, including implementation, RISE/S4HANA migration, and application management services (AMS).
  • Industry Knowledge: Current or recent experience at a Tier-1 or Tier-2 IT services firm or within SAP, with a proven track record of closing enterprise deals.
  • Relationship Management: Established relationships within SAP's India partner/alliance ecosystem are essential.
  • Engagement Skills: Proven ability to engage at the CXO level and manage complex deals with multiple stakeholders.
  • Pipeline Development: Demonstrable experience in building a sales pipeline from ground zero (hunter profile), rather than simply managing existing accounts.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with RISE with SAP: Experience with RISE with SAP / S4HANA Cloud, the fastest-growing segment in SAP services.
  • Account Relationships: Existing relationships in the manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, or BFSI sectors.
  • Sales Experience in GCCs: Knowledge or experience selling into Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets.

Experience

  • 12–18 years in enterprise IT sales, with substantial experience specifically in SAP services.

Environment

The position is based in Gurgaon, India, and requires regional and national travel to strengthen partnerships and meet clients.
