Job Summary

The Head of Supply Chain & Logistics is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and materials. This role plays a critical part in optimizing logistics processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the company's overall strategic objectives related to supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Oversee procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, production, and finance to align supply chain operations with organizational goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other external partners to ensure reliable and timely delivery of goods.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain and logistics team to achieve operational excellence.

• Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees (MBA, MS) preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
