SDE Tester

Job Summary

The SDE Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing and automation. This role contributes to the organization’s goal of delivering high-quality, reliable software by identifying defects early in the development cycle and working closely with the development team to resolve them.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases including manual and automated tests.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Perform API, performance, integration, unit, and regression testing to ensure product consistency and quality.
• Track, document, and report bugs using bug tracking systems like JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams in an Agile environment to continuously improve testing processes.
• Support continuous integration efforts by implementing automated testing in the CI/CD pipeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing, including manual, automation, and API testing.
• Proficiency in Software Testing, Automation Testing, and SDE Testing practices.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools and practices.
• Strong understanding of Integration Testing, Unit Testing, and Regression Testing.
• Effective communication skills and experience working in Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (BTech, BSc, etc.) is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Performance Testing and build automation.
• Proficiency in using Github for version control.
• Advanced skills in debugging and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with additional QA tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of advanced automation techniques and test management practices.

Experience

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in software testing environments, with exposure to both manual and automated testing approaches.
