Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SD Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex business process requirements, configuring and testing the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, and acting as a vital liaison between business functions and the technical team. This full-time position, based in Mumbai with three openings, requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and is set to begin immediately. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our SAP SD solutions meet customer requirements and perform at their best.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements.
• Map client business requirements and identify appropriate system solutions; interpret and validate these requirements with customers.
• Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions in S/4 sales.
• Design, customize, configure, and test the SAP SD module.
• Act as the liaison with clients for troubleshooting, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of problems.
• Document functional designs, test cases, and corresponding results.
• Facilitate communication between business functions and the technical team.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module and S/4 sales environment.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to perform detailed analysis of complex business processes and design effective system solutions.
• Documentation Skills: Proficiency in writing detailed functional specifications using the WRICEF model, including test case documentation.
• Knowledge of security aspects and authorization objects for new developments.
• Industry Experience: Experience in areas such as Sales Contracts (especially service contracts), Settlement Management, and Condition Contract Management.
• Familiarity with standard and custom sales reports, BRF Plus (New S/4 Output Management).
• Experience in developing new interfaces, particularly using RPA and API-based integrations.
• Knowledge of various Fiori/UI5 floor plans (e.g., list report, embedded analytics, wizard, etc.).
• Experience with IDOCs, including custom IDOC creation and extension.
• Proficiency in custom object development following S/4 guidelines (key user extensibility, developer extensibility, and side-by-side extensibility).
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to effectively interact with others.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Additional certifications in SAP SD or related SAP modules.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to adapt existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions for moderately complex problems.
• Comprehensive end-to-end understanding of business processes.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP SD environments, including hands-on configuration, customization, and testing.
• Prior experience in troubleshooting, client interfacing, and delivering end-to-end SAP solutions is required.
