Job Summary
The Project Manager for Airline Fares Implementation will oversee the end-to-end implementation projects within the airline industry. This role is critical for ensuring that customer requirements are effectively translated into executable projects, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization's fare-related products.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end implementation projects, including planning, configuration, testing, and delivery.
- Analyze customer requirements and configure fare-related products across test and production environments.
- Provide functional expertise and support during implementation, including troubleshooting and migration activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and airline customers to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Document learnings and contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in airline fares and pricing implementation or related roles.
- Strong understanding of ATPCO categories (Cat31/Cat33), Fare Families, and ticketing fees.
- Knowledge of airline IT systems such as Altea Reservation/Ticketing and RMS/Dynamic Pricing is an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage projects, communicate effectively with customers, and work in a multicultural environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience); IATA certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with additional fare management systems and pricing strategies in the airline industry.
Experience
- A minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in the airline industry with a focus on fares and pricing implementation.
