Publications Operations Lead - Systems and Tools

Job Summary

The Publications Operations Lead – Systems and Tools will be responsible for leading all activities related to the organization's publications systems and tools, including the publications management system, iEnvision Datavision. This role will serve as the link between the publications team and the publications management system, ensuring that the publications process is accurately reflected. The lead will work closely with the Publications Operations Coordinators, providing guidance and leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs as per the expectations of the Publications Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities related to the organization's publications systems and tools, including the publications management system, iEnvision Datavision.
• Set strategy for utilizing the most adequate systems to meet business needs and align with external innovation trends.
• Manage all interactions with external providers of publications systems and tools, including contract maintenance, tracking renewal needs, and cost negotiations related to change requests.
• Serve as the liaison between the publications team and the publications management system to ensure accurate reflection of the publications process.
• Translate the needs of the publications team into publications management system configurations, evaluate feasibility for changes, and lead implementation steps as necessary.
• Evaluate reporting needs of the publications therapeutic area (TA) teams, oversee the generation of customized reports from the publications management system, and support the Publications Operations Coordinators in this area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Systems, or related discipline).
• 8-10 years of experience in publications management systems and tools.
• Strong understanding of publications processes and management systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in project management and strategic planning.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to translate complex needs into actionable system configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with iEnvision Datavision or similar publications management systems.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of industry trends in publications management.

Experience

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in publications management systems and tools.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹6,500,000.
