Sidecar is a 24*7 Virtual AI Teammate for these Logistics Service Providers that calls, emails

and logs into systems and everything else to execute a complex task.

We are hiring a Founding AI Engineer.

Here’s what you’ll work on:

Browser-native AI agents that can operate any TMS/ERP, even those with no APIs

Document & email understanding systems

LLM-powered agents with memory, tool-use, and real-world edge-cases

Fault tolerant, low latency Voice AI systems

Core infrastructure for building and monitoring thousands of autonomous workflows

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience creating AI-first production grade automation solutions.

Advanced skills in scripting languages: Python and JavaScript.

Practical experience with JavaScript frameworks and TypeScript, especially for React.

Experience in building scalable back-end infra and API Integrations.

Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Google Cloud Platform.

Comfortable with virtual development environments and tools (pip, uv, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and autonomy in technical execution.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills

Experience working with OpenAI API or similar AI/ML platforms.

Startup experience or previous roles in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Willingness and ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Experience

related fields.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in full-stack development, AI-driven automation, or

Proven track record in building and deploying production-grade AI solutions.

Experience with logistics, supply chain, or similar domains is a plus but not required.
