Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is crucial for driving our outbound lead generation initiatives. This energetic self-starter will identify key decision influencers and makers within the pre-construction industry while proactively discovering leads. The role involves extensive outreach to potential prospects, pre-qualifying leads, and setting up demo meetings that align with our company’s goals.

Responsibilities

  • High-Volume Outbound Prospecting

    • Execute daily outreach to 100+ prospects across the preconstruction industry, including general contractors, subcontractors, estimators, and project managers.
    • Utilize a multi-channel approach including cold calls, voicemails, and personalized email sequences.
    • Maintain consistent follow-ups to enhance contact and conversion rates.
    • Build and manage a strong pipeline of early-stage opportunities.
  • Pipeline Generation & Conversion

    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined ideal customer profile (ICP) and persona criteria.
    • Schedule high-quality product demos for Account Executives.
    • Ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities, providing necessary context and notes.
    • Track deal progression from demo booked to closed-won/lost in collaboration with sales and Revenue Operations (RevOps).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work with Product Marketing to continuously refine messaging across personas and trades.
    • Share real-time feedback from prospect conversations including objections, pain points, and competitive insights.
    • Collaborate with Database/Data Team to provide structured feedback on lead quality, ICP fit, and persona targeting accuracy.
    • Partner with RevOps to monitor funnel performance, ensuring CRM hygiene and accurate activity tracking.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 0–3 years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) in outbound sales, preferably in B2B SaaS targeting U.S. audiences.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills both verbally and in written form, with fluency in American English.
  • Outbound Activity: Comfort with high-volume outbound activity and resilience in handling rejection.
  • Experimental Exposure: Familiarity with outbound experimentation including A/B testing of messaging and outreach sequences.
  • Data-Driven: A data-driven mindset, with experience in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Tools: Familiarity with engagement tools such as Outplay and Outreach, as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in sales engagement platforms and familiarity with best practices in lead nurturing and conversion.
  • Understanding of the construction or field services sector.

Experience

0–3 years in sales development or outbound sales, preferably in the B2B SaaS space.

Environment

The role is based in Noida, and may involve a combination of in-office and remote work, depending on company policies.
