Java Back End Developer

Job Summary

As a Java Back End Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and developing large-scale backend systems using Java EE, with a strong focus on Spring MVC or Hibernate frameworks. Your role will involve designing, building, and maintaining complex RESTful APIs and microservices, contributing significantly to the organization's backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and performant web development solutions.
• Provide data-driven insights for every feature built.
• Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and deliver accurate, quality-driven features via coding.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.
• Ensure continuous integration and deployment pipelines are in place to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of software systems.
• Mentor and lead development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science with relevant technical expertise.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java, JEE, and Spring MVC.
  • Expertise in architecting and developing large-scale backend systems.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL, JDBC/ORM, JMS, Maven/Git/Continuous integration.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cloud-native applications.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and caching strategies.
• Understanding of Service-oriented Architecture (SoA) concepts.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in backend services development using Java, JEE, and Spring MVC.
• Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining complex backend systems.

Environment

• Work Location: Bangalore/Chennai preferred with a hybrid model, and remote work is also an option.
