Job Summary

The Software Engineer will work autonomously within defined processes, taking standard decisions and supporting the development of solutions for complex, recurring problems. The role involves a variety of responsibilities including analyzing user requirements, designing systems, writing code, testing software, and producing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications to define user requirements for the development of new or upgraded software solutions.
• Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies while proposing viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
• Develop and implement software according to Amadeus standards, including modeling and designing databases.
• Conduct unit, package, and performance tests to ensure quality aligns with Amadeus guidelines.
• Participate in the product validation phase, making necessary adjustments to finalize the product.
• Support customers by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Managers or Product Definition Analysts.
• Produce and issue necessary software documentation for application use to requesting departments.

Qualifications

• Specialized formal education or equivalent work experience with required technical and functional skills.
• Basic knowledge of the business context relevant to the software being developed.
• Proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to software development (specific languages not mentioned).
