The Role<br /> As a Chassis Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and<br /> optimization of the chassis and suspension systems for our electric motorbikes. You will<br /> specifically focus on the bike’s suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, and transmission. Your<br /> work will ensure that our motorbikes oYer superior handling, stability, and comfort, while<br /> also meeting the stringent safety and durability requirements necessary for emerging<br /> markets. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams to integrate the chassis<br /> design with the overall vehicle architecture, ensuring a seamless and high-performance<br /> product.<br /> What You Will Do<br /> • Design and develop chassis systems including frames, suspension, steering, and<br /> braking components for electric motorbikes.<br /> • Perform detailed analysis and simulation of chassis components to ensure optimal<br /> performance, weight distribution, and durability.<br /> • Select appropriate components and design subsystems that balance weight,<br /> strength, and cost while meeting performance targets.<br /> • Develop and execute testing protocols to validate the performance and reliability of<br /> chassis designs, including on-road testing in diverse environments.<br /> • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including powertrain, battery, and<br /> electronics engineers, to ensure the chassis design integrates seamlessly with other<br /> vehicle systems.<br /> • Optimize designs for manufacturability and scalability, working closely with<br /> suppliers and manufacturing partners.<br /> • Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, simulations, testing<br /> results, and design iterations.<br /> • Ensure all chassis designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations,<br /> particularly those related to vehicle safety and structural integrity.<br /> What You Bring<br /> • 5+ years of experience in chassis engineering, preferably within the automotive or<br /> electric vehicle industry.<br /> • Strong expertise in chassis design, including experience with suspension systems,<br /> frame design, and steering mechanisms.<br /> • Proficiency in CAD and CAE tools for designing and simulating chassis components.<br /> • Experience with vehicle dynamics and handling characteristics, with a focus on<br /> creating a balanced and stable ride.<br /> • Proven ability to take designs from concept through to production, including<br /> prototyping and testing.<br /> • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic<br /> environment.<br /> • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in crossfunctional<br /> teams.<br /> • Passion for electric vehicles and sustainable transportation solutions.<br /> Great to Haves<br /> • Experience with electric two-wheelers or motorcycles, particularly in the design of<br /> chassis and suspension systems.<br /> • Knowledge of regulatory standards related to vehicle safety and chassis integrity.<br /> • Familiarity with the challenges of designing for emerging markets, including<br /> infrastructure and environmental considerations.<br /> Benefits<br /> • World-Class Team: Join a team of leading engineers, operators, entrepreneurs from<br /> across the globe who are part of the inevitable trillion-dollar transition of twowheelers<br /> to electric!<br /> • Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary and equity package based on<br /> experience.<br /> • Impact: Be a part of the trillion-dollar transition of two-wheelers to electric and<br /> make a significant impact on global energy consumption and emissions.
