First attempt, rank holders, sharp analytical skills,
Not a very defined role.
End to end finance. Accounting, reporting, analytical work, ops, banking, treasury.
Dont have a large team.
Does not get involved in portfolio.,
Finance for fund, investors also. nothing with portfolio.
valuations side lot of work is there but its more of a coordination with portfolio and providing data to a third party valuation team.
No service for portfolio.
Closed a similar role for eight roads.
Talent comes from :
1. big4, M&A tax structuring team, DD. Generally funds create talent at this pool
2. Existing funds - no.
3. Good first attempt CA with good companies, accounting/fpna
This role will involve core accounting a lot. putting data entry into the accounting system is important.
Never hired anthing from the fund,
General accounting and general reporting.
Growth path for these guys: every two years role doesnt change
we are not structured like corporate companies.
horizontal expansion happens basis skill set
Lot of learning opportunities. not a monotonous job.
within 1-1.5 years you become very independent.
can lead controller roles independently
Max to max 45 start with 25
grounded, humble, dont throw weight around.

5 days a week from office.
Max of 4 rounds of discussions.
Vikas will only do 2-3 rounds.
