Job Summary

The HFM/Planning/PBCS Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing Hyperion applications. This position requires an individual with strong expertise in HFM, Planning, and PBCS, alongside a comprehensive understanding of financial processes to support month-end closing, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and patch Hyperion Infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot errors and failures with automated job schedules, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Reconcile data between various applications, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with finance teams to understand accounting terminology and related processes such as month-end close and forecasting.
• Utilize Excel Smart View Add-in for reporting and data analysis.
• Gain familiarity with HFM and Planning Rules to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in relevant roles.
• Technical Skills:
  • Sound understanding of HFM, Planning/PBCS, and Essbase functionality (security, metadata, dimensionality).
  • Proficiency in FDMEE/DM mappings.
  • Strong understanding of accounting/finance processes, terminology, and tools including Debits, Credits, Assets, Liabilities, P&L, and Balance Sheet.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand new systems and processes quickly.
• Educational Qualifications: Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with HFM and Planning Rules.
• Advanced Excel skills, especially with Smart View Add-in.

Experience

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Hyperion applications and financial processes.

Environment

• Location options include Bangalore or Pune.
• Requires flexibility to adapt to monthly shift changes, shift allowance will be provided.
