	<li>Understand the unique dynamics of our business and identify critical financial metrics.</li>
	<li>Establish and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to aid decision-making.</li>
	<li>Provide insights into business performance and collaborate with key stakeholders to align financial strategies with business goals.</li>

<p><strong>Controllership:</strong></p>

	<li>Identify and mitigate potential risks, especially in a value-dense industry like jewellery.</li>
	<li>Design and implement controls to prevent system leakages and ensure robust financial governance.</li>
	<li>Oversee compliance with regulatory standards, including statutory audits and filings.</li>

<p><strong>Financial Statement Preparation:</strong></p>

	<li>Independently manage the timely preparation and closure of Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and Profit &amp; Loss Accounts.</li>
	<li>Ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to accounting standards in financial reporting.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>ERP/Software Proficiency:</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Leverage tools like Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar ERP systems to streamline accounting processes.</li>
	<li>Drive the implementation and optimization of financial software to enhance operational efficiency.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Team Leadership and Development:</strong></p>

	<li>Lead, mentor, and upskill an inexperienced finance team to build a high-performing unit.</li>
	<li>Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging professional growth and accountability.</li>

</ol> <p><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Company Secretary (CS) Qualification</strong>: (Preferred) Leverage expertise to support legal compliance and governance.</li> <li><strong>Investor Relations</strong>: Build and manage relationships with investors, providing financial updates and ensuring transparency.</li> <li><strong>VC and Venture Debt Exposure</strong>: Navigate funding processes and manage relationships with venture capitalists or debt providers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.</li> <li>7-10 years of experience, including Big 6 consulting and client-side exposure.</li> <li>Strong understanding of financial metrics, risk assessment, and internal controls in high-value industries like jewellery.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP).</li> <li>Proven track record of leading and developing teams.</li> <li>Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.</li> <li>Exposure to investor relations, venture capital, or venture debt is a significant advantage.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Target cash compensation of ₹30&ndash;40 LPA.</li> <li>ESOPs available (details to be discussed based on the candidate).</li> </ul> <p>This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and make a tangible impact on the organization&#39;s growth.
