<div><strong>Background</strong></div>
<div>Banyan Nation has driven large multi-national brands to make over one billion bottles from its human contact safe post consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and helped replace over 10,000 tons of virgin polymer with recycled plastics in the last 3 years. Banyan has been successful at convincing large brands like Unilever, Reckitt and others to use its premium recycled PCR in mainstream primary products and packaging. Banyan views D2C brands as the next frontier and wants to offer its PCR solutions to SME, emerging as well as D2C brands that may neither possess the scale nor the technical prowess of the larger multi-nationals. Banyan is looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic candidate to establish this new line of business for the Company. The candidate will need to work with both the brands as well as converters who can meet their packaging needs.</div>

<div><strong>Responsibilities and Tasks</strong></div>
<div> </div>
<div>• Build on Banyan’s outreach to SME, emerging and D2C brands in India. Convince these brands to incorporate Banyan’s high quality and safe recycled plastics in their packaging</div>
<div>• Identify established and upcoming brands in the FMCG (and allied) space, and identify and establish contact with key packaging decision-makers at these companies</div>
<div>• Understand the packaging needs of these companies and work with network of converters to place and deliver orders for PCR packaging</div>
<div>• Establish contacts with all the tier 2/3 packaging makers (converters) and identify their spare capacities, and molding catalogs</div>
<div>• Place orders on behalf of D2C companies to converters and follow up on the process until dispatch Skills Needed</div>
<div>• Self-motivated individual with a zeal to build a new business from scratch</div>
<div>• Stellar networking and sales skills</div>
<div>• Understanding of product/packaging costing and basic P&L</div>
<div>• Ability to travel at least 15 days in a month on average to meet converters and brands</div>
<div>• Basic understanding of polymers used in both rigid and flexible packaging.</div>

<div><strong>Strong Preference for Candidates with:</strong></div>
<div>• Existing network of (and relationships with) SME, emerging and D2C brands</div>
<div>• Experience in packaging department of FMCG or packaging consulting firms</div>
