Job Summary
The Fund Manager will be responsible for managing equity portfolios across assigned schemes with a focus on long-term wealth creation. Responsibilities

Fund & Portfolio Management
- Manage equity portfolios across assigned schemes focusing on long-term wealth creation.
- Advise on various equity schemes and funds in line with the organization’s investment philosophy.
- Ensure optimal asset allocation, stock selection, and portfolio construction.
- Maintain fund performance on both absolute and relative return metrics versus benchmarks and peer funds.

Investment Strategy & Market Review
- Continuously review equity markets, macroeconomic trends, sector developments, and company fundamentals.
- Formulate and refine investment strategies and portfolio approaches based on market conditions.
- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and recommend tactical or strategic changes where required.

Policy, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to approved investment policies, risk limits, and regulatory guidelines.
- Work closely with compliance, risk, and operations teams to maintain robust governance standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to investment activities.

Investor & Stakeholder Communication
- Appraise investors on fund performance, investment strategies, and portfolio positioning.
- Prepare and communicate fund performance updates through monthly and quarterly newsletters.
- Participate in investor calls, distributor meets, and product presentations as required.

Collaboration with Marketing & Distribution
- Interact closely with the marketing and distribution teams to support fund positioning and growth.
- Provide investment insights and market views to enable effective sales and distributor engagement.
- Support new product launches and product-related communications.
