Job Summary

This contract role focuses on SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and ABAP development, including ODATA, Gateway developments, and Core Data Services (CDS). The candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and developing EWM processes, supporting custom developments, and collaborating with business and project teams to ensure seamless integration and support throughout the project lifecycle. The role demands strong technical expertise combined with effective communication skills to work independently and deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions using ABAP, including ODATA, Gateway, and CDS technologies.
• Design and configure EWM processes such as Inbound, Outbound, and Internal warehouse management.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops with customer business and project teams, mapping requirements to SAP WM processes, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions.
• Perform unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, and support Go-live activities.
• Work independently to complete assignments within given instructions, prescribed routines, and standard practices.
• Develop and enhance Radio Frequency Framework, Monitor Enhancements, and Post Processing Framework within EWM.
• Utilize object-oriented ABAP programming and work with EWM tables, transaction codes, and classes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree.
• Strong ABAP development skills with hands-on experience in object-oriented ABAP.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM processes including Inbound, Outbound, and Internal warehouse management.
• Experience with Radio Frequency Framework developments and Monitor Enhancements.
• Familiarity with Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA EWM and ABAP with ODATA, Gateway developments, and CDS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks to completion within defined parameters.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of S/4HANA EWM and S/4HANA ABAP with ODATA, Gateway developments, and CDS.
• Experience in designing and configuring EWM processes.
• Ability to understand and manage custom development processes including unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, Go-live, and support phases.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with customer business teams and project teams.

Experience

• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience as an SAP ABAP developer with a focus on EWM.
• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in EWM developments.
