Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to design, test, and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications that need to be deployed at client locations while ensuring adherence to 100% quality assurance parameters.

Responsibilities

• Understand product/software requirements and collaborate with teams to develop software solutions by studying information needs, system flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle and facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.
• Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development, including automating processes for software validation and executing test scenarios.
• Modify software to fix errors, enhance performance, and upgrade interfaces while ensuring the code is error-free.
• Capture client requirements and feedback consistently to ensure timely and smooth delivery of projects.
• Document and communicate progress, providing feedback on software usability and serviceability, and preparing detailed reports on programming project specifications and activities.

Qualifications

• Mandatory skills include Telecom Switching, Routing, Network Element Operations, and Service Waterfall (OAM SW).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development and support.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients professionally.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of database management and data modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud services and modern development tools.

Experience
