Job Description

Experience – minimum 8-10 years in apparel & textiles

Salary – As per industry Standards

 

Key Skills –Should have worked in the apparel &/ or textile merchandising

        1. Should have experience of leading a team of 10+ employees for a period of atleast 3-4 years
        2.  Perfect written & spoken English
        3. Good at handling pressure & crisis management
        4. Should be able to meet timelines & ensure client satisfaction
        5. Should be able to deal with stressful situations calmly
        6. Should be well connected within the apparel industry

Job Description –

  1. Lead your team with enthusiasm and ensure their work is accurate and up-to-date.
  2. Take full responsibility client satisfaction – samples, orders, enquiries and on time delivery
  3. Hold weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with management to discuss your team, clients, and process improvements.
  4. Keep all client-related documents up-to-date and readily available. Create a Standard Operating Procedure to maintain smooth flow of work within the company. Maintain and update client data sheets/ quality manuals/ order process documents
  5. Complete assigned tasks within set deadlines.
  6. Visit clients frequently – for order closure, feedback and to judge their satisfaction
  7. Stay informed about market trends and advise clients accordingly, showcasing new collections promptly.
  8. Maintain prompt communication with the sales team and clients through all necessary channels.
  9. Act as a liason between the merchandising team & our factories to ensure smooth flow of production & timely delivery of goods.
  10. Conduct monthly and quarterly performance evaluations for your team.

 

Salary – 7L to 9L CTC depending on experience.
