Job Description

Role Overview: As the Retail Business Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of
our retail business, including sales, operations, and customer experience. You will develop and execute
strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and enhance brand visibility within the retail
sector.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive retail strategies aligned with the
company's overall objectives and growth targets.
2. Sales Management: Drive sales performance across retail channels, including company owned stores,
franchise outlets, and third-party retailers. Monitor sales metrics, analyse trends, and identify
opportunities for improvement.
3. Retail Operations: Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring compliance with company policies
and standards. Streamline processes to optimize efficiency and maximize profitability.
4. Merchandising and Inventory Management: Work closely with the product development and supply
chain teams to develop effective merchandising strategies and manage inventory levels to meet
customer demand.
5. Store Development: Lead the expansion and development of retail outlets, including site selection,
store design, and layout planning. Ensure a consistent brand experience across all retail
touchpoints.
6. Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric approach to retail operations, focusing on
delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term customer relationships.
7. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor retail staff to ensure high performance and job
satisfaction. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment conducive to achieving business
goals.
8. Financial Management: Develop and manage retail budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor
financial performance and take corrective actions as needed to achieve targets. End to End
ownership of P&L.
9. Retail Stores Ownership: Responsible for the entire lifecycle of retail stores and identifying new
locations, negotiating leases, understanding of store layouts, managing construction or
renovations, hiring and training staff, implementing inventory management systems, overseeing
day-to-day operations, and ultimately deciding when to close a store if it's not performing well.
 
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Graduate/MBA from a Tier-1 university (preferable)
