Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP FI Consultant with deep expertise in India localization requirements, including GST (Goods and Services Tax) and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and supporting SAP FI modules in line with Indian statutory requirements and ensuring end-to-end financial process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and enhance SAP FI module components (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) with a strong focus on India-specific statutory compliance.
• Implement and support GST, TDS, Withholding Tax, and e-Invoicing solutions in SAP.
• Liaise with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure timely compliance with government regulations and reporting requirements (GST returns, TDS filings, etc.).
• Handle integration with third-party tax tools or ASP/GSP portals for e-filing and compliance.
• Participate in full-cycle SAP implementation, rollouts, and support activities.
• Conduct functional testing, UAT, and user training for FI processes.
• Provide production support and resolve issues as per SLA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP FI module implementation and support.
• Strong expertise in India localization including GST, TDS, e-Invoicing, e-Way Bill.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of integration with MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules for tax-relevant transactions.
• Experience with Tax Procedures (TAXINN, TAXINJ).
• Familiarity with India statutory reporting requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Education: Relevant technical qualifications (not specified).

Preferred Skills

• Certification in SAP FI is an advantage.

Experience

• Candidates must have a minimum of 8+ years relevant experience in the SAP FI module.

• Location: Bangalore (Work From Office).
