Job Summary
The Procurement Commodities Manager is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and procurement of copper and aluminium commodities. This role ensures that procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the organization's supply chain and financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for copper and aluminium commodities.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and favorable pricing.
- Analyze market trends and forecasts to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement plans with project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize procurement schedules.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and secure supply.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within commodities.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in commodities trading or market analysis.

Experience
