Job Summary

The Procurement Commodities Manager is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and procurement of copper and aluminium commodities. This role ensures that procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the organization's supply chain and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for copper and aluminium commodities.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and favorable pricing.
• Analyze market trends and forecasts to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement plans with project requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize procurement schedules.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and secure supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within commodities.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commodities trading or market analysis.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in procurement or a similar role.
