Job Summary

The DBE role is designed for an experienced professional with a strong background in database management and DevOps practices. This position focuses on utilizing expertise in various technologies to enhance the organization's operational efficiency and data management capabilities. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization by leveraging their skills to support data-driven decision-making and effective software deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scripts for automation using Linux shell scripting.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and demonstrate working knowledge of Kubernetes and kubectl.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to configure cloud resources.
• Utilize AWS services in a DevOps capacity to deploy and manage applications securely.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Python applications and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Monitor application performance and alerts using Datadog and optimize the operational processes.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years in database engineering and DevOps environments.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in mySQL for database management and optimization.
  • Basic knowledge of Ansible for automation.
  • Intermediate to expert skills in Terraform for IaC.
  • Proficient in version control using GitHub.
  • Basic working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • AWS DevOps Novice certification or equivalent is encouraged.
  • Proficient in Python programming for scripting and automation tasks.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience with additional monitoring or alerting tools beyond Datadog.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in database management and DevOps practices.

Environment

This is a remote position requiring a suitable home office setup for productivity and collaboration.

Salary

Estimated salary of 1.2 Lakhs per Month.
