Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to sell cloud services tailored for the enterprise sector within India. The position focuses on promoting cloud consumption, transformation, modernization, private cloud, and managed services, contributing significantly to the organization’s growth in the cloud services market.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute cloud strategies to drive sales plans within the designated territory.
  • Meet and exceed regular sales quotas to qualify for incentive programs, focusing on both New Names (NN) and Existing Accounts (EN).
  • Establish frameworks for optimizing outcomes, setting new methodologies, and ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met in a timely fashion.
  • Promote and sell Writer’s Intellics cloud services, along with hyper-scale cloud offerings such as Azure and AWS. In addition, responsible for promoting CDS-BU offerings like security and infrastructure services.
  • Assess competencies and create capabilities at the team level.
  • Manage sales activities across industry verticals including BFSI, Manufacturing, CMT, FMCG, and emerging SMB customers.
  • Develop strong relationships with CIOs and CTOs in the respective territories to enhance market presence and sales performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Tech or Postgraduate degree with a major in Sales or Marketing Management.
  • Experience:
    • Total of 10-12 years in sales business development within the IT field.
    • Last 5 years focused specifically on cloud selling.
  • Skills:
    • Proven sales experience in cloud and infrastructure services.
    • Strong techno-commercial understanding with capabilities in solution consulting, sizing, planning, and prerequisites for specific products.
    • Excellent execution, internal stakeholder management, people leadership, assertiveness, business acumen, and coaching skills.
    • Established relationships with key CIOs and CTOs in the Indian business region.

  • Ability to withstand pressure and contribute positively as a team player.
  • Strong orientation towards achieving targets.

Experience

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in sales and business development, with specific experience geared towards cloud services in the last 5 years.
