We are a global employee engagement and social impact platform that partners with leading enterprises to create meaningful workplace experiences through corporate volunteering and purpose-driven activities.
Operating across 100+ countries and 30+ languages, the company helps organisations design and deliver engaging employee experiences through virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats. Its offerings span end-to-end programme management, curated volunteering activities, hosted experiences, and impact measurement.
As the business expands its portfolio of employee engagement offerings, it is looking for a strategic and execution-oriented professional to build the processes, systems, and infrastructure required to scale its category operations.
We are looking for a Strategy & Operations Lead – Category to build and strengthen the operating infrastructure behind a growing portfolio of employee engagement offerings.
The company is developing and scaling multiple formats, including activity kits, kiosks, off-sites, skills-based programmes, and AI-led initiatives. This role will establish the systems and processes that enable these offerings to be developed, launched, commercialised, and delivered consistently at scale.
You will work closely with Category Managers, Experience and Activity Design, Content, Product, Partnerships, and Go-to-Market teams to streamline execution, improve commercial performance, and ensure that the category operates efficiently as it grows.
This is a high-ownership role that combines strategic thinking, commercial analysis, process development, and hands-on execution.
Build dashboards to track the performance of multiple offerings across revenue, margins, scalability, and other key business metrics.
Support pricing, cost structure, and unit economics decisions to ensure commercial viability and profitability.
Track SKU-level performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, and operational efficiency.
Evaluate offerings to identify opportunities for expansion, refinement, standardisation, or discontinuation based on business performance.
Translate performance data into actionable insights to support category-level decision-making.
Define and institutionalise the end-to-end category launch process, covering market validation, offering definition, piloting, operational readiness, and go-to-market launch.
Establish clear stage gates, success criteria, and evaluation frameworks for new offering launches.
Partner with Experience Design teams to build a structured activity development process, from initial concept and design through piloting and scaling successful activities.
Develop standardised offering briefs and define the information required to take each category and format from concept to execution.
Document processes into reusable playbooks that enable teams to launch new offerings consistently without reinventing workflows.
Build and manage the operational infrastructure required to launch, sell, source, and deliver offerings consistently across locations.
Establish and maintain systems for activity development pipelines, material management, event briefs, vendor coordination, pricing models, feedback tracking, and campaign calendars.
Create clear ownership structures, update cadences, and review mechanisms to ensure these systems remain accurate and effective.
Drive adoption of standardised processes across teams and conduct regular reviews to identify gaps and improve execution.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
Develop positioning, messaging, and storytelling for individual offerings to ensure they are differentiated and aligned with customer needs.
Create sales enablement materials, including presentations, brochures, case studies, and pitch narratives.
Partner with Go-to-Market teams to support demand generation, improve sales readiness, and drive successful deal conversion.
Ensure customer-facing teams can clearly articulate the value proposition, impact, and differentiation of each offering.
Work with relevant stakeholders to align category strategy with marketing and commercial priorities.
Work closely with Category, Experience Design, Activity Design, Partnerships, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to bring new offerings to market.
Ensure alignment between category strategy, operational execution, and customer experience.
Drive cross-functional initiatives, establish clear accountability, and ensure timely delivery of key priorities.
Influence stakeholders across teams to drive adoption of processes and deliver shared business outcomes.
Identify execution gaps and proactively resolve issues that affect launch timelines, delivery quality, or commercial performance.
5–7 years of experience in strategy consulting, category management, or a founder/co-founder role in a zero-to-one environment.
Experience owning or contributing to P&L, pricing, unit economics, or revenue-driven initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business data into actionable decisions.
Experience building processes, operating frameworks, dashboards, or playbooks that improve business execution and scalability.
Strong communication and storytelling skills, particularly in sales, marketing, and commercial contexts.
Proven ability to work across functions, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and drive initiatives through to completion.
An ownership mindset, with the ability to take accountability for business outcomes, including revenue and profitability.
A combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to move from high-level problem-solving to day-to-day implementation.
Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of the factors that drive pricing, margins, growth, and business performance.
A customer-centric approach, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into effective category strategies and operating processes.
