Job Summary

The AI/ML Engineer will play a critical role in developing innovative machine learning solutions aimed at enhancing product functionality and user experience. This position requires a strong background in machine learning algorithms and the ability to work with various cloud platforms. The engineer will contribute to the advancement of AI technologies within the organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and techniques while adhering to best practices.
• Utilize Databricks, Azure AI services, and other ML platforms to create robust AI solutions in a cloud computing environment.
• Write and manipulate data tables using strong programming skills in Python, demonstrating a solid understanding of system design principles.
• Construct complex SQL queries and effectively handle aggregate functions and table joins.
• Build generative AI-based solutions, such as chatbots, utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches.
• Leverage frameworks like Lang chain, Lang graph, autogen, or crewai for generative AI applications.
• Optimize and fine-tune ML models for enhanced performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions into existing products.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to innovate and improve current practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a similar role.
• Strong familiarity with machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, including data manipulation, function writing, and debugging.
• Solid experience in SQL for writing complex queries with confidence.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in natural language processing and large language models (LLMs) like GPT or BERT.
• Experience with product matching, image recognition techniques, and scalabilities, such as MLflow or Kubeflow frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Experience with chatbots or other generative AI projects.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AI/ML development and implementation.

Environment

• Hybrid work mode with opportunities for flexible telecommuting.
• Based in Chennai, candidates should be from Chennai and able to start immediately or within 30 days.
