Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

The Azure DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, and automating processes. This position is essential to ensure efficient operations, security, and governance within the DevOps framework, contributing to the organization's overall objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using YAML and Classic methods.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Bicep for environment provisioning.
• Automate deployments and manage operations using PowerShell and CLI.
• Manage and orchestrate containers to support application deployment.
• Implement security, monitoring, and governance practices across the Azure environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage in client interactions to support project development.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in Azure cloud services.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipeline configuration and management.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep.
• Expertise in automation with PowerShell and Command Line Interface (CLI).
• Experience with container technologies.
• Familiarity with security, monitoring, and governance practices.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
• Availability for UK shift hours (until 9:00 PM).

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 to 6 years in a related role, with practical experience in Azure and DevOps operations.
