Senior .NET Developer

Job Summary

The Senior .NET Developer will play a critical role in migrating legacy applications to modern .NET frameworks, designing and developing robust backend services, and leveraging the latest cloud and containerization technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization’s digital transformation initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy ASP.NET MVC 4.x applications to .NET 6 or .NET 8 frameworks.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core.
• Develop microservices and containerized applications with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Optimize SQL/T-SQL queries and participate in database design and optimization discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver features efficiently.
• Integrate and maintain user interface components using modern .NET UI libraries (e.g., DevExpress, Telerik, Infragistics, Kendo UI).
• Utilize JIRA for project tracking, updates, and Agile process management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in C# and .NET Core (preferably .NET 6 or 8).
• Proven experience migrating applications from ASP.NET MVC 4.x to .NET 6 or 8.
• Strong expertise in SQL/T-SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Solid hands-on experience with Docker, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Familiarity with .NET UI component libraries such as DevExpress, Telerik, Infragistics, or Kendo UI.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Practical experience working in Agile environments and using JIRA for project management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Services.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture best practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications.
• Understanding of cloud security and best practices in Azure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in .NET application development.
• Direct experience with application migration, cloud-native development, and containerization technologies.
• Prior involvement in Agile software development teams.

• Work from Office (WFO) required.
• Preferred location: Hyderabad; also open to Pune and Gurgaon.
