Title: Regional Manager, Supply Chain   Company: Banyan Nation   Location: In-Region (TS & AP, KA, TN)   About Us: Banyan Nation has driven large multi-national brands to make over one billion bottles from its human contact safe post consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and helped replace over 10,000 tons of virgin polymer with recycled plastics in the last 3 years. Banyan has been successful at convincing large brands like Unilever, Reckitt and others to use its premium recycled PCR in mainstream primary products and packaging.   Banyan views supply chain expansion and optimization as the next frontier in its growth story to become India’s premier supplier of PCR. Banyan is looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic candidate to lead this transformation.   Responsibilities: 1. **Regional Supply Chain Strategy**:    - Develop, implement, and monitor a robust regional supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.    - Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency enhancements across the supply chain.   2. **Operational Oversight**:    - Oversee daily operations of supply chain activities within the region, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.    - Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.   3. **Team Leadership**:    - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.    - Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.   4. **Vendor and Stakeholder Management**:    - Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and transport providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.    - Collaborate with internal departments and regional teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment in supply chain operations.   5. **Technology Utilization**:    - Leverage advanced supply chain technologies to optimize inventory levels, demand forecasting, and logistics planning.    - Promote the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance visibility and control across the supply chain.   6. **Compliance and Risk Management**:    - Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies within the regional supply chain operations.    - Develop and maintain a solid risk management framework to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.   7. **Performance Metrics and Analysis**:    - Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of regional supply chain operations.    - Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.   8. **Budget Management**:    - Oversee the regional supply chain budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective operations.   Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus. - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management with a focus on regional or multi-site operations. - Proven leadership and team management skills. - Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. - Proficient in supply chain software systems and related technologies. - Ability to travel within the region as needed.
