Drupal Developer

Job Summary

The Drupal Developer will play a critical role in building, customizing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications. This position is based in Bangalore with a work mode of 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home. The successful candidate will contribute to the organization's technical objectives by developing custom modules, themes, and ensuring all sites are optimized for performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain: Build, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications.
• Custom Module & Theme Development: Design and implement custom Drupal modules and themes.
• Responsive Design: Implement responsive web designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
• Technical Communication: Clearly articulate technical requirements and solutions to various stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects meet business goals and adhere to best practices.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Drupal, PHP, and MySQL.
• Web Technologies: Strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Drupal API Knowledge: Experience with Drupal API and custom module development.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Drupal Core & Contributed Modules: Familiarity with Drupal core and a variety of contributed modules.
• Version Control: Experience using version control systems such as Git.
• Additional Certifications: Any relevant certifications or additional training in web development.
• Responsive Frameworks: Experience with responsive and cross-browser frameworks to design dynamic user interfaces.

Experience

Candidates should have hands-on experience in Drupal development with a solid history of creating and maintaining Drupal-based projects. Specific years of experience are flexible, but demonstrable expertise and project participation are essential.
