Job Summary
The Finance Business Partner / Manager plays a crucial role in driving financial strategy and planning for BigHaat. This position is responsible for supporting business leaders on financial initiatives aimed at optimizing financial performance, ensuring compliance, and enhancing business decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage financial plans to align with business strategies and objectives.
- Monthly P&L Reporting & Variance Analysis: Oversee the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements, analyzing variances from budget.
- Cost Optimisation & Business Performance Improvement: Identify and implement cost-saving measures to enhance overall business efficiency.
- Financial Modelling & MIS Reporting: Create robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and compile management information system reports.
- Working Capital & Treasury Management: Manage working capital effectively, ensuring liquidity for business operations.
- Business Partnering with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Statutory Audit Coordination & Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and coordinate with auditors during statutory audits.
- Strengthening Internal Controls & Finance Processes: Enhance internal controls and improve finance-related processes for better accuracy and efficiency.
- Supporting Strategic Business Initiatives: Assist in the evaluation and execution of strategic business initiatives to drive growth.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), or Cost Management Accountant (CMA).
- Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in finance.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Business Finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Telugu is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with agricultural finance or agritech sectors is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance norms relevant to finance and agriculture.
Experience
A minimum of 6 years of relevant finance experience, with strong exposure to financial planning and analysis in a business context.
