MERN Developer

Job Summary

The MERN Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications using the MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN) technology stack. This role is integral to building robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that align with business objectives and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintain code integrity, organization, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MongoDB database management and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Express.js for backend development.
  • Strong skills in React.js for building interactive user interfaces.
  • Expertise in Node.js development for server-side logic.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack.
  • Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications is preferred.

Environment

  • Location: Parel, Mumbai.
  • Work Setting: Full-time, on-site position.
  • Typical office environment with standard working hours.
  • May require occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
