Associate Lead operations Analyst

Job Summary

This role focuses on providing support for mainframe operations, specifically using CA7 and Control M. The position is critical for ensuring seamless job scheduling and resource management in a mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain job schedules in CA7 and Control M to ensure proper execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to mainframe job processing and scheduling.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to optimize job flows and improve system performance.
• Document procedures and updates for job management processes.
• Participate in on-call support as needed to address urgent mainframe-related incidents.

Qualifications

• Technical skills: Proficiency in CA7 job scheduling and Mainframe Support; familiarity with Control M.
• Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; effective communication skills.
• Certifications: Relevant IT certifications are a plus, particularly in mainframe technologies.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other job scheduling tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of mainframe programming languages (e.g. COBOL, JCL) is a plus.

Experience

Prior experience in mainframe environments and job scheduling of at least 2-3 years is preferred.

This role is typically situated in an IT department within a corporate environment, possibly requiring on-call support for night or weekend shifts.
