Job Summary

The Business Head for South India will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence in the region. Responsibilities

• Business Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand Yuma’s footprint across South India and identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams within the region.
• P&L Management: Own the profit and loss for South India operations, ensuring financial targets are met while optimizing costs and maintaining operational efficiency.
• Operations Management: Oversee end-to-end operations, including logistics, supply chains, and customer experience, while establishing scalable processes for efficiency across cities.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead multi-city, cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Market Analysis & Expansion: Conduct thorough regional market research and develop strategies for geographic and product/service expansion across emerging South Indian markets.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal functions to ensure smooth business operations and represent Yuma with government agencies and strategic partners.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years in business operations, regional leadership, or P&L ownership roles, with a preference for candidates with exposure to the mobility, energy, logistics, or gig-economy sectors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
