Job Summary:

 

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Cluster Manager to oversee fleet and transport operations across multiple client sites in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless coordination between Site Managers, clients, and internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. This role involves strategic oversight, stakeholder management, and a strong focus on people development and process adherence.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with clients to establish and monitor an effective review mechanism for operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely uploading of client roster details into the Lithium system for daily allocations.
  • Act as the 2nd level escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and approve leave planning of Site Managers, ensuring adequate backup support.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction within agreed timeframes.
  • Execute driver engagement programs in coordination with the Engagement Team.
  • Foster a positive work environment for Site Managers, Supervisors, and Drivers.

 

 

  • Define and implement career progression plans for drivers, Supervisors, and Site Managers.
  • Monitor competition activities and strategize to increase Lithium’s share in client transport allocation.
  • Coordinate fleet maintenance schedules with zero or minimal disruption to operations.
  • Prepare and present daily/weekly MIS reports to clients; attend and contribute to periodic client reviews.
  • Proactively manage vehicle breakdowns by arranging alternative transport options.
  • Liaise with Lithium’s Accident Liaison Officer for prompt vehicle release post-accidents.
  • Continuously optimize operational costs and drive efficiency in all clusters.

 

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong people management skills to work with diverse stakeholders including drivers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Managerial and business acumen to balance client needs with organizational interests.
  • Professional demeanor and confidence to represent Lithium during client interactions and review meetings.
  • Ability to identify and promote Lithium’s services during client events and initiatives.
  • Planning and organizing capabilities to collaborate with HR, Maintenance, and other central teams for smooth initiative rollouts.
  • Clear understanding of revenue and cost implications of operational decisions.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.
  • Ensure team compliance with Lithium’s policies, standards, and procedures always.
