ETL Testing - Cloud (AWS / AZUR) / Bigdata

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced ETL Testing professionals with expertise in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data ecosystems. As an ETL Tester, you will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and supporting complex data migration and transformation initiatives. This role is critical in guaranteeing high-quality deliverables for our cloud-based and big data solutions, directly contributing to robust, reliable analytics and business intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive ETL test cases and test scripts for cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data platforms.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines, including source-to-target data validation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution, ensuring issues are addressed promptly.
• Automate ETL and data validation tests wherever possible to enhance efficiency.
• Provide support for deployment, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in ETL Testing, preferably within cloud and big data environments.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, specifically for testing data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL tools, and big data technologies.
• Experience with SQL and scripting languages for data validation and automation.
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow).
• Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or similar.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools.
• Experience in Agile development and DevOps environments.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or ETL testing.

Experience

• Minimum: 5 years of dedicated experience in ETL Testing.
• Relevant experience in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data platforms is highly desirable.

• Location: Bangalore (Onsite).
