Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Summary

The Social Media Marketing Intern will assist our existing social media team in the creation, execution, and management of engaging content across multiple social media platforms. This role is ideal for a creative individual with a strong interest in digital marketing, photography, videography and graphic design. The intern will contribute to the company's online presence and brand awareness, supporting the overall marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content (images, videos, stories, reels) on various social media channels.
• Assist in designing graphics and visual materials for posts and campaigns.
• Capture and edit photos and videos for social media use.
• Conduct research to identify current trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies.
• Support the planning and implementation of social media marketing strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong photography and video production skills.
• Proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to conduct research and apply findings to improve content.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of digital marketing analytics.
• Photography and Videograhy proficiency
• Video editing proficiency (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
• Prior experience in a similar internship or freelance social media work.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 0 years (Entry-level; freshers welcome).
• Relevant experience in photography, video production, graphic design, or social media management is a plus.
