Job Summary

The role demands an experienced professional to manage cloud infrastructures with a strong emphasis on Wintel, VMware, and Azure environments. The candidate will leverage their expertise to ensure system reliability, support infrastructure modernization, and drive compliance with security standards while facilitating collaboration among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud environments focusing on Azure, Wintel, and VMware technologies.
• Develop and implement Azure solutions utilizing PaaS and IaaS models, ensuring adherence to security and compliance controls.
• Create and manage Azure resources, including VMs, Azure Storage, Vnets, and more.
• Collaborate with application architects and DevOps teams to transition infrastructure from IaaS to PaaS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents escalated from L-2 support, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Define best practices for cloud services management and conduct root cause analysis for incidents.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • 6+ years of experience in Wintel and Azure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware, Active Directory, and Azure services.
  • Proficient in Azure PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud models and integration aspects.
  • Familiarity with tools for management, monitoring security, and automation.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications:
  • Technical certification in virtualization platforms (required).
  • ITIL certification.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud-native tools and third-party integrations.
• Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Basic scripting and automation skills.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of total experience, with 6+ years relevant experience in cloud Wintel and VMware environments.

Environment

• This position is open to candidates in Bangalore and Chennai.
• Work schedule includes participation in CST shift timings, on-call schedules, and weekend change assignments.

Salary

• Competitive compensation offered for this role is 15L.
