Job Summary

The Oracle R12.2 EBS Functional Consultant will primarily be responsible for supporting the Oracle E-Business Suite applications, particularly focusing on the Order Management (OM) and Procure to Pay (P2P) modules. This role involves interfacing with key stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and enhancement implementations. The position requires candidates to be located in Pune or Mumbai, with occasional travel to Halol, Gujarat for period end closing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional consultant for Oracle R12.2 EBS, with a focus on manufacturing, Order Management, and Procure to Pay modules.
• Define project priorities and write functional specifications, coordinating developments with the technical team.
• Regularly test application changes and train users on enhancements, providing status communications throughout the process.
• Report on project activities to management and collaborate with functional support teams across various zones to share critical information.
• Facilitate the implementation of best practices for promoting code to different environments.
• Maintain strong client management and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Leverage knowledge of India localization and Goods and Services Tax (GST) to ensure compliance in implementations.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Order Management and Procure to Pay modules.
• Strong domain experience with EBS and its implementation methodologies such as Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) and Oracle Unified Method (OUM).
• Basic understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and familiarity with tools like SQL Developer, Toad, Putty, and version control systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with India Localization and GST related to Oracle applications.
• Familiarity with software development best practices.

Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS functional consulting, particularly in the Procure to Pay modules.
• Prior client-facing roles and experience managing stakeholder expectations are advantageous.

Environment

• Work is primarily remote, with the expectation of travel to Halol, Gujarat 5-7 days a month for period end closing.
