Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in DevOps to lead the migration of our existing infrastructure to a container-based cloud infrastructure and set up CI/CD pipelines. The successful candidate will leverage their web application development background, particularly in the JavaScript tech stack, preferably using React JS, to streamline our development and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Migrate current infrastructure to a container-based cloud infrastructure.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Build and deploy AWS CloudFormation templates and manage container orchestration for Kubernetes using Amazon EKS.
• Monitor and manage the infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of the deployed applications.
• Develop scalable web applications using React JS and implement best practices for component design and state management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and enhance existing code repositories for performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: B.E/B.Tech or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: 6+ years in DevOps with strong background in web application development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Jenkins workflows, Ansible scripts, and GitHub workflows.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including CloudFormation, EKS, S3, and IAM.
  • Experience with Helm charts and incident management tools like PagerDuty.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch and JFrog Artifactory.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks, particularly in React JS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Typescript and functional programming within React applications.
• Knowledge of Atomic design principles and the use of Webpack or similar bundlers.
• Familiarity with using SCSS, SASS, or styled components.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in DevOps and web application development.
