Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Developer with strong backend development expertise and experience in the fintech domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance financial applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and DevOps engineers to design and develop cutting-edge fintech solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams to deliver secure and scalable fintech applications.
• Implement payment gateways, transaction processing, and integration with banking/financial APIs.
• Ensure compliance with data security standards (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.) and follow best practices in authentication and authorization.
• Optimize application performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Stay updated with the latest fintech trends, technologies, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful API development.
• Experience with databases – MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in fintech use cases such as digital wallets, payment processing, KYC/AML, loan management, or trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance in financial systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating third-party financial APIs (Plaid, Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, etc.).
• Knowledge of blockchain, digital assets, or DeFi protocols.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and scaling high-volume transaction systems.
• Understanding of domain-driven design (DDD) and clean architecture principles.

Experience

3–7 years of professional experience in backend development and expertise in fintech applications is preferred.
