We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Close and Bank Reconciliation consultant to join our dynamic Finance team within our Financial Shared Services center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely support to local finance teams for financial close and reporting processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

What impact will you create?
Key Responsibilities
1. Bank Reconciliation
· Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations.
· Investigate and resolve unmatched transactions promptly.
· Ensuring the balances as per statement match with system.
· Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
· Maintain proper documentation for all reconciliations.
· Identify and Implement automation in this area to bring more efficiencies
· Ensure no open reco items.
2. Monthly Closing
· Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
· Post journal entries, accruals, and provisions accurately.
· Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations related to cash and bank accounts.
· Maintain proper documentation for all reconciliations.
3. Process improvement
· Identify opportunities for RTR process optimization, automation, and standardization within the financial accounting and close processes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional and operation excellence teams to implement improvements and enhance overall efficiency.
4. Audit support
· Assist with internal and external audit requests, providing necessary documentation & information to ensure a smooth audit process within the timelines.
· Support in timely audit closure by assisting in query resolution.
· Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.

Who are we looking for?
Key Skills
Technical Skills
· Proficiency in using enterprise-level financial software and systems, such as SAP S/4HANA. Familiarity with other SAP modules, MT940 and BPM Solution will be a plus.
· Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation techniques to facilitate financial analysis and reporting.
· Strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks.
· Timely closure of month end activities without any error
· Ability to identify repetitive manual tasks and propose automation solutions.
· Strong understanding of workflows to streamline processes.
Soft Skills
· Candidate should be well versed in English.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to data integrity.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
· Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including finance teams, auditors, and management.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Team player with the capability to collaborate across departments, geographies, and cultures. Proactive attitude towards process improvement and the ability to drive change.
Education
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Experience
· 2 to 4 years of experience in Record to Report or Treasury (BRS) or a similar role within a finance or accounting function is required.
· Experience working in a financially shared services environment is preferred but not mandatory.
· Proven track record of successfully managing and coordinating the financial closeness process for complex organizations will be advantageous.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain accuracy.
