Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our jewellery business. This role involves coordinating between production, vendors, inventory, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth operations while maintaining quality and timelines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Operations & Production

• Oversee daily operations of jewellery production and order fulfillment

• Coordinate with karigars/artisans to ensure timely production

• Monitor quality standards across jewellery pieces

• Track timelines and resolve operational bottlenecks

 

Inventory & Materials

• Manage inventory of gold, silver, stones, and finished jewellery

• Maintain accurate stock records and material movement

• Coordinate procurement of raw materials

• Minimise wastage and ensure proper handling

 

Vendor & Logistics Management

• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and job workers

• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and dispatches

• Ensure proper documentation for jewellery movement

 

Store / Sales Coordination

• Coordinate with sales and retail teams for order planning

• Ensure stock availability for store, exhibitions, and online orders

• Support order execution and pricing coordination

 

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain production, inventory, and vendor records

• Support audits and internal checks as required

 

Team Coordination

• Supervise operations staff and support teams

• Ensure smooth communication between departments

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in jewellery operations preferred

• Strong organisational and coordination skills

• Understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes

• Comfortable working in small-team environments

• Basic to intermediate Excel / inventory software skills

• High attention to detail and accountability
