Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Data Migration Expert to lead and execute data migration activities. The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of SAP data structures, ETL tools, data cleansing, and validation processes. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful migration of data in large-scale SAP S/4HANA projects, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration planning and execution for SAP S/4HANA systems.
• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to understand data requirements and map legacy data to SAP structures.
• Design and implement data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes using tools such as Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, LTMC, etc.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency through validation, cleansing, and reconciliation activities.
• Manage mock data loads, data load testing, and cutover data migration.
• Create and maintain detailed data migration documentation including mapping specifications, test plans, issue logs, and status reports.
• Support data governance efforts by defining data standards and working with business owners to improve data quality.
• Troubleshoot data load issues and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of SAP data structures and S/4HANA integration.
• Proficient in ETL tools, specifically SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, and LTMC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in data validation and cleansing.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven experience in managing data migration projects, specifically with large-scale implementations.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and methodologies.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional SAP modules will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.

Experience

• Previous experience in SAP S/4HANA migrations is required.
• Prior involvement in large-scale data migration projects, ideally in an enterprise environment.
