Job Summary
The O365 Admin will be responsible for administering and maintaining Microsoft Exchange versions (2013/2016/2019) and the on-premises infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of email services and Office 365 solutions, contributing to the organization's overall efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain MS Exchange versions (2013/2016/2019) and on-premises infrastructure, including backup and restore procedures, mailbox management, and public folder replication.
- Provide advanced support for Exchange Online services, including hybrid configurations, mail flow troubleshooting, and message tracking.
- Configure and troubleshoot remote email access using Outlook and Outlook Web App (OWA).
- Manage and maintain anti-SPAM products and Enterprise Vault Servers.
- Architect, design, and implement solutions using Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Security & Compliance.
- Handle Tier 3 operations and assist Tier 1 and 2 teams with complex issues.
- Troubleshoot advanced Office 365 issues using tools like PowerShell and diagnostic tools while adhering to SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve global technical issues.
- Monitor system performance and provide root cause analysis for complex issues.
- Execute projects related to migrations, new implementations, and system improvements for Office 365.
- Provide detailed reporting on Office 365-related tasks and tickets.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019) and desktop environments (Windows 10/11).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange protocols (SMTP, POP3, RPC/HTTPS, MAPI/HTTPS).
- Experience with Exchange Hybrid Configurations and Azure Active Directory Connect implementations.
- In-depth understanding of Office 365 features, including DKIM, DMARC, transport rules, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and retention/archival policies.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture and Microsoft Teams troubleshooting.
- Advanced capabilities in tools like PowerShell, MFCMapi, IDFix, and diagnostic utilities.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
- Experience in project management and leading technical projects.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Exchange administration and Office 365 management.
