Job Description
Key Responsibilities
<p> </p> 1. Government & Institutional Sales Management <p> </p> Manage and grow sales across Central & State Government, PSU, ESI, CGHS, <p> </p> Defence, Railways, and Medical Colleges. <p> </p> Develop annual and quarterly business plans for Government accounts. <p> </p> Achieve assigned revenue, collection, and market share targets. <p> </p> 2. Tender & Contract Management <p> </p> Identify, evaluate, and track upcoming government tenders. <p> </p> Coordinate preparation, submission, and follow-up of tenders ensuring technical, <p> </p> commercial, and statutory compliance. <p> </p> Work closely with pricing, regulatory, production, and logistics teams for timely <p> </p> tender participation. <p> </p> Manage rate contracts, extensions, amendments, and renewals. <p> </p> 3. Key Account Relationship Management <p> </p> Build and maintain strong relationships with: <p> </p> o Procurement committees <p> </p> o Hospital administrators <p> </p> o Key decision-makers and influencers <p> </p> Conduct regular account reviews and engagement programs. <p> </p> Resolve operational, supply, and post-order issues proactively. <p> </p> 4. Order Execution & Supply Coordination <p> </p> Ensure smooth order execution from PO receipt to final delivery. <p> </p> Coordinate with supply chain, production, and finance to avoid delays and penalties. <p> </p> Monitor dispatches, invoicing, and documentation as per government norms. <p> </p> 5. Pricing, Profitability & Compliance:- Recommend competitive and compliant pricing for government business <p> </p> 6. Market Intelligence & Business Development <p> </p> Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and policy changes. <p> </p> Identify opportunities for new product introduction in government institutions. <p> </p> Support inclusion of products in hospital formularies and essential drug/device lists. <p> </p> 7. Collections & Documentation <p> </p> Ensure timely collection of payments and follow-up on outstanding dues. <p> </p> Coordinate with finance for bill submission, clarifications, and audits. <p> </p> Maintain accurate records of tenders, contracts, and correspondence.<br />
