Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with strong expertise in S/4HANA and Security Administration to join our global SAP operations team. The role is responsible for ensuring seamless system maintenance, optimal performance of HANA databases, and end-to-end Basis administration across global environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning to ensure availability and stability of SAP systems.
• Manage and administer HANA databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Handle user management, authorization, and security administration in line with organizational policies.
• Perform SAP system administration activities including client copy, refresh, license management, and patch updates.
• Execute SAP release management activities, ensuring smooth upgrades and patch deployments.
• Configure and maintain SAP Routers and manage system connectivity globally.
• Utilize and configure Solution Manager for monitoring, alerting, and system optimization.
• Conduct SAP traces, logs analysis, and troubleshooting to resolve performance and connectivity issues.
• Prepare and maintain documentation in compliance with corporate standards and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional, security, infrastructure, and DB teams) for issue resolution and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis and Security Administration with a focus on S/4HANA.
• Proven expertise in SAP system administration, performance monitoring, and tuning.
• Strong knowledge of SAP patch management and release management processes.
• Experience with Solution Manager configuration, monitoring, and utilization.
• Proficiency in HANA DB administration, system refresh, and license management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in SAP logs, traces, and connectivity issues.
• Experience in global SAP environments with the ability to support 24x7 operations.
• Good understanding of audit and compliance requirements related to SAP Basis operations.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Certified Technology Associate (Basis/SAP HANA) is a plus.
• Experience in cloud-based SAP deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery configurations.

Experience

• 7–10 years of relevant experience required.

Environment

• Position based in Bangalore or Mumbai with global operations support.
