Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the Group’s financial strategy. This role involves overseeing all financial functions, ensuring compliance, managing capital and working capital, and preparing the organization for future growth phases, including potential IPO readiness. The CFO will drive financial innovation, lead a large finance team, and act as a strategic partner to support the Group’s ambitious expansion and transformation goals.

Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Business Partnership: Collaborate with the CEO and Board to develop and implement the Group’s financial strategy, including budgeting, long-term planning, and resource allocation. Provide data-driven insights to support strategic growth initiatives.
• Financial Operations, Controls & Compliance: Establish and maintain robust financial control frameworks ensuring adherence to regulatory standards (Ind AS, Companies Act, SEBI). Oversee audits, taxation, risk management, and consolidation of multi-entity financials.
• Working Capital, Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manage end-to-end working capital, optimize cash flow, and maintain strong banking relationships. Oversee debt structuring, refinancing, and liquidity planning.
• Capital Structuring & Business Growth: Lead capital strategy, including equity and debt fundraising, evaluate new business opportunities, and support M&A activities with financial due diligence and valuation.
• Investor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement: Build credibility with investors, lenders, and regulators. Prepare and present financial reports, strategic updates, and ensure transparent communication.
• IPO Readiness & Governance Strengthening: Prepare the Group for potential IPO by enhancing governance, aligning financial reporting standards, and ensuring compliance with SEBI and other regulatory requirements.
• Digital Transformation & Financial Innovation: Drive automation, digitization of financial processes, and leverage technology for real-time analytics and forecasting. Implement fintech solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Team Leadership & Finance Function Building: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team of over 70 professionals. Establish clear KPIs, review processes, and foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) strongly preferred; alternatively, CMA or MBA in Finance from Tier 1/Tier 2 B-School.
• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Indian financial regulations (Companies Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Ind AS, ROC), financial modeling, scenario planning, and management reporting.
• Experience: 15–18 years of progressive finance leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior CFO, Deputy CFO, VP Finance, or Group Finance Controller role.
• Sector Experience: Preferably from manpower-intensive or service-driven industries such as IFM, staffing, logistics, telecom, infrastructure O&M, or similar sectors.
• Financial Management: Proven track record in corporate finance, working capital management, treasury operations, and capital structuring.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with private equity, institutional investors, or preparing for capital market transactions (IPO/QIP).
• Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems and financial automation tools.
• M&A experience, including due diligence, valuation, and integration.
• Strong understanding of investor relations and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead digital transformation initiatives within finance.

Experience

• 15–18 years of relevant experience in senior finance roles.
• Demonstrated experience in large, multi-entity organizations with revenues exceeding ₹500 Crore.
• Proven leadership in building and managing high-performance finance teams.
• Experience in strategic financial planning, compliance, and governance.

This role is based in Pune, Maharashtra, with a dynamic work environment that involves collaboration across multiple business units and functions. The position requires a hands-on leader capable of managing a large team and engaging with senior leadership, investors, and regulatory bodies. The work involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and active participation in organizational transformation initiatives.

Salary

The estimated compensation package ranges from ₹60 – ₹70 LPA + ESOP, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
