Job Summary

The Qa Engineer I will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing processes. This position focuses on automation, database, and API testing to support the delivery of robust solutions. The role contributes directly to organizational goals by identifying defects early and improving product stability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Perform thorough database testing to validate data integrity and consistency.
• Design and conduct API testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Document and report defects, track issues to resolution, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and regular team meetings, providing input from a testing perspective.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
• Proficiency in Cypress automation framework.
• Strong skills in database testing, including writing and executing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in API testing using relevant tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with other automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Experience in performance and security testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Exposure to manual testing and exploratory testing techniques.

Experience

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in QA engineering, with hands-on expertise in automation, database, and API testing.
