Job Description
- Scoping out using primary and secondary research which segment of scrap could be tackled in what manner & plan of action for the same in terms of the problem & solution. This could involve direct buysell, stock & sell, stock process & sell.
- Developing relationships directly with yards to have consistent supply & quality of scrap
- Working closely with P&L leaders in different regions to ensure correct demand planning & pricing to ensure maximum sales & margins.
- Ensuring smooth management of working capital to ensure maximum capital turns to get maximum return on capital
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure all import documentation is done as per best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engg Field. A relevant Masters or an MBA is a big plus.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the metal scrap domain
- Experience of visiting yards & sourcing directly
- Experience of starting up or working with startups is a plus
